It can be daunting to step directly into the line of fire when you’re confronting something you really want. But the only way to get it is to go for it.
So how do you decide what you want to go for? A personal coach, like myself, can be invaluable in helping you decide what goal you want to set for yourself. But even without a coach, you can definitely find your way.
Journal – write until you can’t write any thing else and then write some more, delving into what you are looking for in life
List It Out – make lists and lists and lists of all the things you want to achieve
Mind Map – if you’re more comfortable drawing, making a mind map can be a great focal point for creation
What do you journal, list or map about? Whatever brings you joy, or what you want to do, or what feels right. This is where having guidance can be of assistance, but you certainly can do it solo.
When you’re decided on what makes you light up, figure out how you want to get there. Are you looking to throw your current life in the rubbish bin and start brand new? Or are you looking to make incremental change in your life? Likely you’ll be somewhere in the middle. Most people are.
But you’re not most people – you can make and achieve goals for your life.
