If you’re used to working outside the home, it can definitely add some stress to be indoors all day, working from your house. It can be difficult to adjust to having to share your space with a partner, kids, the pets, while you’re trying to get work done. It can even feel strange to be home alone if you usually work in an environment where there are lots of people.
So it can feel different. No problem there, take a couple of days to get used to it. But for some, there’s more going on. Instead of being able to fill their time with gossip or chitchat, they’ve got no one to talk to and have to deal with the issues inside. Do you normally use the water cooler as your place to stand and shoot the breeze? Instead do you now have to deal with emotions coming up and pout that are uncomfortable?
